Other Banks

You can use Other Banks to pay for your buy orders if you are already a user of their internet banking services. As different banks will have slightly different systems, a general online payment flow is provided below for your reference only. For further step-by-step procedures, please refer to your bank for the use of their bill payment service.

Please note that payment by credit card is not recommended. If payment is made by credit card, additional charges (such as interest and handling fees) and conditions may be imposed by your bank. Please refer to your bank for details.

Step 1

Follow the screen instructions to place your buy or schedule buy order and select “Other Banks” as the payment method. Please refer to the section Buy Funds for details.

For monthly investment, please select “monthly” as your payment type and select the payment date, which should be the same as your monthly investment date.

Step 2

    Login to the Other Banks’ internet banking via their website.

    Select “Bill Payment”, then select “Securities Broker” under the Merchant Category and “J.P. Morgan Asset Management” as Merchant.

    Enter your 12-digit MasterAccount Number, then enter the investment amount. Please pay the EXACT amount provided in the receipt screen of your buy order.

Step 3

After 10:00pm, come back to the Order Status in J.P. Morgan eTrading. If your payment has been successfully received, the status of your order will read “Accepted”.
